Dear Samui Island [Day 13: Welcome to Samui!]

Samui Airplane trip!
I owe you guys three days worth of Samui amazingness!

First stop, airport!

Bangkok Airways has an awesome lounge w/ free food!

We were wondering where our plane was...
but since it is a small jet, we take the bus to it!

Our plane is tiny!
1 hr and 15 min flight!

Welcome to Samui!
15 mins later = rain

Montien House Resort
Great resort on the beach w/ good live night music [I'll film it one day, shes amazing]

Boats!
Restaurants on the beach catch their own fish!

Walked on the beach and a guy approached me with a gibbon, whoa!
Lucky enough he didn't make us pay money. My dad says they are cute, but Thai people are beginning to eat them and they take them from their mothers. =(

I'll have to come here when I'm older =D
the place here is geared more towards the 18+ and couples

Later that night, Jimmy took us into town
The taxis here are only one two-toned color...red & yellow (how boring)

Ate @ the Lake restaurant
fancy high end restaurant and the only one we will ever eat at. My dad says it is BS that they raise the price here for tourists. If you want good cheap food, you can eat for less than $20 @ a local down scaled restaurant that has super yummy food. The Lake restaurant did have this yummy fish, the best everrr. Only found around here.
