Dear Thailand [Day 27: The End]
Thailand Trip = The End
It was quite depressing leaving.
I left around 5am to catch the 8an flight to Tokyo.
Took 6 hrs and the flight attendants kept thinking I was the child of the lady beside me.
It's lonely being on the plane and walking through the airports to the gates =(
Flight to Dallas, TX = delayed due to "backup generator fail", awesome!
The 11 hr flight = slept + bride wars + monk + valkyrie (good movie btw)
Within the last hr the girl beside me asked me a question about the Customs form.
She's from Korea and is going to Florida for sightseeing and taking a CBA test. She's majoring in Business and has seen DBSK multple times in concerts because she lives near the station where a lot of famous Korean bands play. Neat =D she was really cool
Flight to Nashville,TN = sleep more (2 hrs)
When I was at the Dallas airport, there was a rude grumpy dude who told the boy (who accidentally dropped a napkin on the way to the trash) to pick it up. He yelled "HEY!" and as I was walking past, he gave me an angry look. Pfft geez, welcome to America, where the peope can be rude and nosy.
In Thailand, I actually rarely met any rude people
(I can only think of the DMV Meryl Streep)
Honestly. Even if they wanted to be rude, I couldn't tell. Maybe it's the way the language is, but today I went to Mcdonalds (I was hungry forealz), and the cashier was an old lady. I walked in behind a guy and the cashier smiled and said "Welcome to Mcdonalds! What can I get for you sir!?" OHH, but what did she say to me when I approached the cash register? NOTHING. She just glared at me, then when I was about to leave she had her back turned away from me and yelled "HAVE A NICE DAY"....and no it wasn't a pleasant yell.
Customs was lameeeeee
You have to go through customs when you visit a different country to make sure you aren't carrying anything back illegal. My bags were scanned for "Agriculture", yay. But when I arrive @ nashville to get my bags, one of them was missing. WTFZ. I was scared it was lost or someone stole it. There was an expensive camera (the SLR) and my clothes! The Baggage Service guy said it happens all the time because they probably had to scan it again and was on the way to a different flight. I was hella hungry, and I didn't want to wait for it. They said they would deliever it so they did! But when I got home, my other bag's lock was missing, my stuff inside was in a messy order, one of my magazines was taken out of it's package, and something spilled because the cap was loose. !@#$%
I hate Customs >:(

Especially the food and how I didn't have to worry about anything there.
I forgot about the time zone, I accidentally called my dad and the house there at 3am in the morning. oops!

Here are some differences
- They don't use paper towels, they juse tissue for everything
- Even when it is a tiny piece of chicken, they will cut it smaller instead of stabbing it iwth a fork and shoving it into their mouths. (I do that =D)
- Their bathroom stalls are better! No cracks =P
- Known public places like malls have western toliets! (I never once used an eastern one, yes!)
- If you aren't Thai, good luck trying to bargain with street vendors!
- As loong as LGBT people don't break the law, they don't care what they do
- Students wear uniforms, but hazing is a huge thing in Thailand
- Schools don't have rivalrys in sports, they do against each other and will fight on the streets (my dad did too)
- ladyboys/transgender people are on television & movies too!
- Their movie theaters can have assigned seats
- A lot of street vendors have tshirt size called "Freesize" means one size fits whoever can fit it
- Students (they take buses and taxis) flood the malls and random places after school (My dad and his friends hungout near the mall and checked out girls, surprising!)
- Lots of slums =(

OMFG! DBSK DAY~!
From morning to afternoon, I spent @ ChatuChak Market!
The biggest and cheapest market in Bangkok [When I thought things couldnt be any cheaper]
According to wikipedia, there are around 5,000 stalls and is only open on the weekend. Around 200,000 to 300,000 people visit!

Once we walked out...STORM!
A lot of BADDD traffic, streets were flooded up to the cars, stuck not moving much for 2 hrs and tons of fans couldn't find taxi rides or bus rides. Many waited it out, while others walked in the rain and flooded sidewalks to find rides.

Afterwards we noticed DBSK (what we think is them) on the top balcony across from Impact Arena =O

Dear Thailand [Day 25: All you can Eat]
Spent the day being sillys
Quite an eventful day and my second to last day here =(
Ahhh, well, I am becoming a fatty here.
Too much good food
I have yet to try anything I didn't like.
Went to Central Plaza for my cousin Dear and to eat

We ate at this place owned by Oishi.
If you don't know Oishi, they are huge! They make the best green/black tea in bottles and cartons. Nina and I have been drinking them like crazy.

Dear Thailand [Day 24: Fam]
I can't believe I watched Tales of the Crypt when I was little.
No wonder i was scared, it is hella violent!
I told Toto about the show because a cartoon version comes on. I told him it was scarier and I opened up a youtube episode of it and within 10 seconds you just saw a woman axing her husband by the fireplace.
Toto is now scarred for life.
& I really didnt know the show use to be like that

It's different from my previous ones. We went to a haircut place across from Central. We got a discount for being American @ 100 baht ($3) and all the people there had awesome hairstyles. There were around 10 people in a small little place, 3 people worked on my hair! One to do hairwashing, one to actually cut and style, and one to blowdry! My aunt just pointed at a picture and said to make it Thai-stye. The guy who cut my hair had cute pink/yellow highlights!
