Dear Thailand [Day 1: Welcome to Thailand!]

After 24 hours of flight, I am officially done with flying.

Flight #1 ->Dallas,TX [4hrs]
  • Delayed TWICE due to weather.
    We were already on the plane, so we waited approx. 40 mins on the plane, then another 40 mins till the weather passed by.
  • Had a convo with the lady beside me.
    She has 4 children, 12 grandchildren and is a graduate from University of Georgia. Lives in Nashville and has a job with sales marketing.

Flight #2->Tokyo,Japan [13 hrs]
  • Has the best looking food displayed

  • Has cute styligh japanese boys walking around
He's not one of those boys walking around.
  • Has the most interesting airport bathroom
    Their bathroom consisted of 3 stalls, one was the eastern toilet on the ground, one was the regular western style, and the other was the advanced toilet with buttons on the side to wash you, deodorize you, or to play a fake "flushing sound"....and I hit the fake flushing sound thinking it was the flush button. Nina said it sounded extremely fake, but hey, if you need to pretend you flushed the toilet, that button is there for you!
  • The airplane has yummy food (SUSHI!)
  • And a touchscreen display for you to watch movies, tv shows, and play games!
    I watched The Office, House, Monk, & Confessions of a Shopaholic and played a bit of Tetris! OMGPOOP!
  • The guy sitting next to me wasn't so nice.
    He's from Vietnam, can't speak English, and has a MTV TRL messenger bag. I asked if he would trade seats, because it is kind of awkward having a random guy sitting inbetween you and your family, but declined my offer due to being "too close to the window"...and he snores
  • SWINE FLU!
    We had to fill out forms before we were allowed to get off and then we we held because it was possible the people near our seats were sick. The PA announced "Rows 20-27 must fill out the forms...." We were in row 22. FML

Flight #3 ->Bangkok, Thailand [6 hrs]
  • Had to sit next to a couple... (Bleh)
  • Cute flight attendents
    Dad's right, Amercian airlines = old flight attendents. Asian airlines = cute young flight attendentsLike this one =D
  • Watched Gran Torino.
    Damn I love Clint Eastwood
  • My dad was able to get 3 assistants from the airport to help us get our luggage. While the other people had to help themselves
  • Walked out, and it was EFFING HOT
  • Pulled over by a cop, apparently it is against the law to have an open truck bed in Bangkok
  • Saw 27398872131 color combos of taxis so far

WELCOME TO THAILAND'S AIRPORTS!
